Mary Mason Roper 
Mary Mason was born on March 20th, 1800 in <N Rockingham, Nc>.1 Mary Mason's father was John Roper and her mother was Martha Capel. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Roper and 1St Wife Unknown; her maternal grandparents were William Capel and Anne Unknown. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Frederick S, John, Richard Thomas, William C, James F, Nancy S, Elizabeth C, Martha and Sara K. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 84 on March 26th, 1884 in Dillon Co, Sc.1 General Notes
