Martha Roper 
Martha was born on February 1st, 1798 in N Rockingham, Nc.1 Martha's father was John Roper and her mother was Martha Capel. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Roper and 1St Wife Unknown; her maternal grandparents were William Capel and Anne Unknown. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Frederick S, John, Richard Thomas, William C, James F, Nancy S, Elizabeth C, Mary Mason and Sara K. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 55 on February 16th, 1853 in Marvin Dist, Sc.1 General Notes
