Sarah Ellen Pollitt 
Sarah Ellen was born on September 28th, 1852 in Fulton County, Illinois.1 Sarah Ellen's father was Alexander H. Pollitt and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Estes. Her paternal grandfather was James Pollitt; her maternal grandparents were Lewis Estes and Anna Farris. She had four brothers and three sisters, named George Calvin, John A., William Lewis, Robert J., Mary Ann, Emma Caroline and Alice America. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 44 on November 27th, 1896. She was buried in 1896.1 1 -
