Emma Caroline Pollitt 
Emma Caroline was born on September 7th, 1861 in , Fulton County, Illinois.1 Emma Caroline's father was Alexander H. Pollitt and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Estes. Her paternal grandfather was James Pollitt; her maternal grandparents were Lewis Estes and Anna Farris. She had four brothers and three sisters, named George Calvin, John A., William Lewis, Robert J., Mary Ann, Sarah Ellen and Alice America. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 75 on December 31st, 1936. She was buried in 1937.1 1 -
