Alice America Pollitt 
Alice America was born on August 18th, 1865 in , Fulton County, Illinois.1 Alice America's father was Alexander H. Pollitt and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Estes. Her paternal grandfather was James Pollitt; her maternal grandparents were Lewis Estes and Anna Farris. She had four brothers and three sisters, named George Calvin, John A., William Lewis, Robert J., Mary Ann, Sarah Ellen and Emma Caroline. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 66 on March 11th, 1932.1 -
