James Searcy 
James was born on May 5th, 1792.1 James' father was Colonel Reuben Searcy and his mother was Susannah Elizabeth Jett. His paternal grandparents were John Searcy and Phoebe Anderson. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Reubin, Jesse, Richard, Susan, Penelope, Jane and Harriet. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Asa, Bennett, Thomas, Robert, William Washington, John, Sarah, Henrietta, Elizabeth and Polly.1 -
