Pierre (Pedro) was born in 1746 in Mobile,AL and his baptism took place on December 29th, 1743 in Mobile. Pierre (Pedro)'s father was Hugo Ernestus Krebs and his mother was Marie Josephe De La Pointe. His paternal grandparents were Johann Krebs and Anna Charitas Fritsch. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Joseph Simon de Bai, Francois (Francisco), Mathias, Louis (Ludwig) Augustine, Marie Jeanne (Josephine, Josepha), Marie Jeanne, Marguerite (Marie Marguerite) and Marie Marguerite. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Hugo Daniel (Daniel Hugo), Antonie Raphael (elder), Bazile Basilio, Marie Theresa, Anna Charite (Charitas), Maria Rose and Cecilia (Lecille). He died at the age of 41 in 1787.General Notes
"age estimated by father in 1776, 30 yrs" Left 4 minor children at his death. "in the record of the Cathedral of New Orleans 3 more children of this marriage are mentioned: Joseph, christened 1783 Ines and Estefana, christened 1778.[could they be twins?] These children must have died prior to their father's death."
