Mathias Krebs 
Mathias was born in 1747 and his baptism took place on March 6th, 1747 in Mobile. Mathias' father was Hugo Ernestus Krebs and his mother was Marie Josephe De La Pointe. His paternal grandparents were Johann Krebs and Anna Charitas Fritsch. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Joseph Simon de Bai, Francois (Francisco), Pierre (Pedro), Louis (Ludwig) Augustine, Marie Jeanne (Josephine, Josepha), Marie Jeanne, Marguerite (Marie Marguerite) and Marie Marguerite. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Hugo Daniel (Daniel Hugo), Antonie Raphael (elder), Bazile Basilio, Marie Theresa, Anna Charite (Charitas), Maria Rose and Cecilia (Lecille).
