Marie Jeanne (Josephine, Josepha) was born in 1745 and her baptism took place on December 28th, 1745 in Mobile. Marie Jeanne (Josephine, Josepha)'s father was Hugo Ernestus Krebs and her mother was Marie Josephe De La Pointe. Her paternal grandparents were Johann Krebs and Anna Charitas Fritsch. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Joseph Simon de Bai, Francois (Francisco), Pierre (Pedro), Mathias, Louis (Ludwig) Augustine, Marie Jeanne, Marguerite (Marie Marguerite) and Marie Marguerite. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Hugo Daniel (Daniel Hugo), Antonie Raphael (elder), Bazile Basilio, Marie Theresa, Anna Charite (Charitas), Maria Rose and Cecilia (Lecille).
