John B. Allen

John B. was born on November 9th, 1795.  John B.'s father was John William Allen and his mother was Kizia Anders.  His maternal grandfather was William Anders. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Nathaniel, Peter, William, Daniel, Lydia and Mary Elizabeth.  He was the second youngest of the seven children. He had seven half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Thomas, Aaron, Moses, George, Elisha, Benjamin, Elijah, Sarah Ann, Elizabeth and Jemima.  He died at the age of 68 on October 1st, 1864.

‌John B. and Nancy were married in a religious ceremony on June 27th, 1816 in St Helena Parish,La.  They had a son named Thomas Day.
