William Allen

William was born on June 16th, 1790 in Alabama.  William's father was John William Allen and his mother was Kizia Anders.  His maternal grandfather was William Anders. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Nathaniel, Peter, John B., Daniel, Lydia and Mary Elizabeth.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He had seven half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Thomas, Aaron, Moses, George, Elisha, Benjamin, Elijah, Sarah Ann, Elizabeth and Jemima.
