Elijah Allen

Elijah was born on September 24th, 1817 in Louisiana.  Elijah's father was John William Allen and his mother was Hannah Pride. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Aaron, Moses, George, Elisha, Benjamin, Sarah Ann, Elizabeth and Jemima.  He was the youngest of the ten children. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Nathaniel, Peter, William, John B., Daniel, Lydia and Mary Elizabeth.
