Benjamin Allen

Benjamin was born on November 4th, 1815 in Louisiana.  Benjamin's father was John William Allen and his mother was Hannah Pride. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Aaron, Moses, George, Elisha, Elijah, Sarah Ann, Elizabeth and Jemima.  He was the second youngest of the ten children. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Nathaniel, Peter, William, John B., Daniel, Lydia and Mary Elizabeth.
