Thomas Day Allen 
Thomas Day was born on March 20th, 1823. Thomas Day's father was John B. Allen and his mother was Nancy Day. His paternal grandparents were John William Allen and Kizia Anders; his maternal grandparents were William Day and Nancy Deborah (Dicey) Cross. He was an only child. He died at the age of 74 on May 23rd, 1897 in St Helena Parish,La. He was buried in Allen Family Cemetary.-
