William Day Allen 
William Day was born in 1852. William Day's father was Thomas Day Allen and his mother was Martha Carruth. His paternal grandparents were John B. Allen and Nancy Day. He had a brother and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John, Nancy, Sarah, Matilda Clemetyne, Martha and Baby. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named Thomas, Cora, Emma L, Mary, Nellie and Baby.-
