Caroline Markin

Caroline was born in 1845.¹   Caroline's father was James M. Markin and her mother was Elizabeth (Betsey) Blankenship.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles W I Markin and Lucinda Dechard. She had five brothers and six sisters, named John Wesley, Cornelius Singleton, James M., Daniel W, George S, Mary (Polly), Anna, Sarah Ann, Emaline (Molly), Martha and Nancy Arena.  She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She had three half-brothers named Amos, William Sherman and Benjamin F.
