Isabella Plantagenet 
Isabella was born in 1214 in Gloucester, England.1 Isabella's father was John Lackland and her mother was Isabella Taillefer. Her paternal grandparents were Henry II de Anjou Plantagenet and Eleanor de Aquitaine; her maternal grandparents were Alymer de Valence and Alice de Courtenay. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry III, Richard, Joan and Eleanor. She had a half-sister named Joanna of England. She died at the age of 27 on December 1st, 1241 in Foggia, Sicily, near Naples.1 General Notes
