Nancy Maples

Nancy was born in 1768 in Pitts. Co., Virginia.¹   Nancy's father was Josiah Maples and her mother was Ruthea Sweeney.  Her paternal grandfather was William Maples; her maternal grandparents were Moses SR. Sweeney and Ann (Sweeney). She had ten brothers and two sisters, named James, Ephraim, Josiah Jr., William Cordra, Peter C., Moses, Elijah, Jesse, Thomas, John W.?, Ruthea and Elizabeth.  She was the oldest of the thirteen children.  She died at the age of 16 on August 9th, 1784 in Pitts. Co., Virginia.¹
