Josiah Jr. Maples

Josiah Jr. was born in 1776 in Pitts. Co., Virginia.¹   Josiah Jr.'s father was Josiah Maples and his mother was Ruthea Sweeney.  His paternal grandfather was William Maples; his maternal grandparents were Moses SR. Sweeney and Ann (Sweeney). He had nine brothers and three sisters, named James, Ephraim, William Cordra, Peter C., Moses, Elijah, Jesse, Thomas, John W.?, Nancy, Ruthea and Elizabeth.  He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 79 in 1855 in Christian Co., Missouri.¹
