Reese V. Self

Reese V. was born about 1820 in Gap Creek, Greene, Tennessee.¹   Reese V.'s father was Jesse Self and his mother was Agnes Dobson.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Self and Elizabeth; his maternal grandfather was John Dobson. He had five brothers and a sister, named Elijah R., Robert D., Josiah, Lewis, Joseph and Lucinda.  He was the youngest of the seven children.
