Nathan Peoples

Nathan was born in 1811 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹ Nathan's father was John Peoples and his mother was Lucretia Murrell. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Peoples and Margaret Kelsay; his maternal grandparents were Richard Murrell and Mary Ann Mabry. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named John, Richard, Samuel, Andrew Jackson, Nancy Jane, Ann, Margaret, Mary, Elizabeth, Lucretia, Sarah and Frances. He was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 71 in 1882.¹
