Nancy Jane Peoples

Nancy Jane was born in 1796 in Tennessee.¹ Nancy Jane's father was John Peoples and her mother was Lucretia Murrell. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan Peoples and Margaret Kelsay; her maternal grandparents were Richard Murrell and Mary Ann Mabry. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named John, Nathan, Richard, Samuel, Andrew Jackson, Ann, Margaret, Mary, Elizabeth, Lucretia, Sarah and Frances. She was the oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 82 in 1878.¹
