Lucretia Peoples

Lucretia was born in 1813 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹ Lucretia's father was John Peoples and her mother was Lucretia Murrell. Her paternal grandparents were Nathan Peoples and Margaret Kelsay; her maternal grandparents were Richard Murrell and Mary Ann Mabry. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named John, Nathan, Richard, Samuel, Andrew Jackson, Nancy Jane, Ann, Margaret, Mary, Elizabeth, Sarah and Frances. She was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 99 in 1912.¹
