Andrew Jackson Peoples

Andrew Jackson was born in 1826 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹ Andrew Jackson's father was John Peoples and his mother was Lucretia Murrell. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Peoples and Margaret Kelsay; his maternal grandparents were Richard Murrell and Mary Ann Mabry. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named John, Nathan, Richard, Samuel, Nancy Jane, Ann, Margaret, Mary, Elizabeth, Lucretia, Sarah and Frances. He was the second youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 36 in 1862.¹
