John Peoples

John was born in 1804 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹ John's father was John Peoples and his mother was Lucretia Murrell. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Peoples and Margaret Kelsay; his maternal grandparents were Richard Murrell and Mary Ann Mabry. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Nathan, Richard, Samuel, Andrew Jackson, Nancy Jane, Ann, Margaret, Mary, Elizabeth, Lucretia, Sarah and Frances. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 50 in 1854 in Shelby County, Missouri.¹
