Steven Alexander Ooton

Steven Alexander was born in 1847 in ,Clay, Illinois.¹   Steven Alexander's father was Levi Ooton and his mother was Alpha Omega Tailor.  His paternal grandparents were Silax Penix (Silas Phoenix) Wooton and Phebe Worth. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Jordon, Silas, Jeremiah, James, Allen, Aaron, John, Mary Ann, Alpha Elizabeth and Nancy.  He was the youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 17 on July 22nd, 1864.¹
