Nancy Ooton

Nancy was born in 1841 in ,Clay, Illinois.¹   Nancy's father was Levi Ooton and her mother was Alpha Omega Tailor.  Her paternal grandparents were Silax Penix (Silas Phoenix) Wooton and Phebe Worth. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Jordon, Silas, Jeremiah, James, Allen, Aaron, John, Steven Alexander, Mary Ann and Alpha Elizabeth.  She was the third youngest of the eleven children.
