Jeremiah Ooton

Jeremiah was born in 1825 in ,Pike, Kentucky.¹   Jeremiah's father was Levi Ooton and his mother was Alpha Omega Tailor.  His paternal grandparents were Silax Penix (Silas Phoenix) Wooton and Phebe Worth. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Jordon, Silas, James, Allen, Aaron, John, Steven Alexander, Mary Ann, Alpha Elizabeth and Nancy.  He was the third oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 77 on April 4th, 1902.¹
