Allen Ooton

Allen was born in 1836 in ,Lawrence, Indiana.¹   Allen's father was Levi Ooton and his mother was Alpha Omega Tailor.  His paternal grandparents were Silax Penix (Silas Phoenix) Wooton and Phebe Worth. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Jordon, Silas, Jeremiah, James, Aaron, John, Steven Alexander, Mary Ann, Alpha Elizabeth and Nancy.  He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.
