Mary Ann Ooton

Mary Ann was born on November 6th, 1832 in ,Pike, Kentucky.¹   Mary Ann's father was Levi Ooton and her mother was Alpha Omega Tailor.  Her paternal grandparents were Silax Penix (Silas Phoenix) Wooton and Phebe Worth. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Jordon, Silas, Jeremiah, James, Allen, Aaron, John, Steven Alexander, Alpha Elizabeth and Nancy.  She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.
