Mary Ann Hicks

Mary Ann was born in 1834 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   Mary Ann's father was Reuben Hicks and her mother was Mary Mottern.  Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Hicks and Mary. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Henry Jack, Jacob, William Cate, John Elbert, Sarah and Melissa E..  She was the second oldest of the seven children.
