Mary Dykes 
Mary was born in 1816 in Hawkins, Tennessee. Mary's father was John Netherland Dykes and her mother was Susannah Robertson. Her paternal grandparents were William Dykes and Susannah Lankford. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Joseph, William, Henry, James, John Netherland, Thomas, Isham and Susannah. She was the third youngest of the nine children.-
