Joseph Dykes 
Joseph was born on June 8th, 1803 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee. Joseph's father was John Netherland Dykes and his mother was Susannah Robertson. His paternal grandparents were William Dykes and Susannah Lankford. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William, Henry, James, John Netherland, Thomas, Isham, Mary and Susannah. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 50 on November 15th, 1853 in , Apponoose, Alabama.-
