Henry was born on November 13th, 1761 in VA. Henry 's father was Johann Philipp KAUFELDT and his mother was Eleanor E. "Nelly" RYAN . His paternal grandparents were Johann Nicklas KAUFFELT and Anna Maria GRUNDT; his maternal grandparents were Edward RYAN and Susannah SYMMONDS. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John , Daniel , James Henry , George , Jacob , Sarah, Rebecca, Barbara and Sarah . He was the oldest of the ten children.-
