She had three brothers and five sisters, named Alfred , William Edward, Arthur Phillip , Mary Jane, Susan "Sudie" , Rebecca Louisa "Lou" , Tennessee "Tennie" Elizabeth and Ella Rachel. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Bud , Walter and Sarah P. .-
