Eva Catherine was born on January 20th, 1769 in Humphery, Northampton Co, PA. Eva Catherine's father was Adam Stocker and her mother was Maria Magdalena Beisel. Her paternal grandparents were Michael Stocker and Anna Margaretha Stephan. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named John Peter, John Michael, John Adam, Leonard, George, John Thomas, John Jacob, Eva Margaretha and Elizabeth. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children.-
