Walter Samuel Hennis 
Walter Samuel was born on June 3rd, 1921 in Farmington, WV. Walter Samuel's father was Morland St. Clair Hennis and his mother was Florance Mae Stocker. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Hennis and Matilda Swallow; his maternal grandparents were Miller David Stocker and Sarah (Sadie) McDonald. He had six brothers and a sister, named Donald St. Clair, Parks Elwood, David Eugene, George Moreland, Living, Living and Living. He died at the age of 81 on August 27th, 2002 in Morgantown, WV.General Notes
Worked as coal mine foreman, then as federal mine inspector for the Department of Labor, Mine Health Safety Administration. Lived in Mannington, WV while working. Later moved to Morgantown WV. Member of first aid and mine rescue teams. Buried in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Fairmont, WV.
