Her paternal grandparents were William Stocker and Mary Ann Kunkle; her maternal grandparents were John S. McDonald and Mary Rood. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Donald, Millard Edwin, Emma Ethel, Clemence Regina, Mary Rita and Anna Alberta. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 82 on May 24th, 1979 in Farmington, WV.General Notes
