Mathias Grinder

Mathias was born in 1790 in Stokes Co, NC.¹   Mathias' father was Joshua Grinder and his mother was Catherine Green.  His paternal grandparents were John Grinder and Mary ?. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Reuben, John, Susan and Catherine. He had four half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Robert, James, Joshua, Nicholas, Parthenia, Winny, Sally, Mahuldah and Barbara S..  He died at the age of 59 in September 1849 in Poinsett Co, AR.¹
