James Grinder

James was born about 1800 in TN.¹   James' father was Joshua Grinder and his mother was Francis ?.  His paternal grandparents were John Grinder and Mary ?. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Robert, Joshua, Nicholas, Parthenia, Winny, Sally, Mahuldah and Barbara S.. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Mathias, Reuben, John, Susan and Catherine.  He died about 1847 in TN.¹
