M. Johnson Garrett 
M. Johnson was born on July 25th, 1875 in ,Warren Co., N.C.. M. Johnson's father was John Garrett and his mother was Mary Elizabeth (Polly) Osborn. His paternal grandparents were William Garrett and Jane Stroud; his maternal grandparents were James Osborn and Ann Johnson. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Jasper Newton, Isaac Henry, James M., John D., William Jordan, Lucius Leander, Louisa A., Margaret A., Martha J., Nancy Adaline and Mary Melinda (Linda). He was the youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 67 on February 1st, 1943. He was buried in Gracemont Cemetery, Caddo County, Oklahoma.General Notes
M. Johnson Garrett, the name is interesting, evidently the Johnson's and
Garrett families traveled together and intermarried. Johnson never
married, he lived part of his life in Oklahoma. The Johnson's also had
a son named Newton Garrett Johnson. His tomb- stone says Johnson N.
Garrett
