John Garrett

John was born on March 2nd, 1828 in ,,,Ireland.  John's father was William Garrett and his mother was Jane Stroud. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Humphrey Posey, Marvel, Joseph Patton, William Benjamin, George, James Marion, Rebecca, Cynthia and Martha Jane.  He was the third youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 50 on March 12th, 1878 in ,Towns Co., Georgia.  He was buried in Garrett Cemetery, Manie Fork, Georgia.
