Joseph Patton Garrett 
Joseph Patton was born in 1822. Joseph Patton's father was William Garrett and his mother was Jane Stroud. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Humphrey Posey, Marvel, William Benjamin, George, John, James Marion, Rebecca, Cynthia and Martha Jane. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.General Notes
I am sure he is a brother to John but at this time have no proff except
their ages are near, they both married in Union Co. Ga., the middle name
Patton is connected with my Garrett's as well as the name Chastain.
