Andrew Neal was born in 1856.1 Andrew Neal's father was Andrew Alexander Crawford and his mother was Rachel Tinnon. His paternal grandparents were John Crawford and Margaret Buchanan. He had a brother and five sisters, named Hugh, Margaret, Martha Halbert, Lucy, Emily and Alice. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named Robert.General Notes
