Samuel Wesley Hancock 
Samuel Wesley was born on May 16th, 1837 in Harrison County, Indiana. Samuel Wesley's father was Samuel Hancock and his mother was Francis Anna Avery. His paternal grandparents were John Hancock and Jane Skeen. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James B., George A., John Strange, Sarah, Nancy Jane, Mary A. and Catharine. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 85 on November 4th, 1922 in Bicknell, Knox County, Indiana.-
