Catharine Hancock 
Catharine was born on August 20th, 1834 in Harrison County, Indiana. Catharine's father was Samuel Hancock and her mother was Francis Anna Avery. Her paternal grandparents were John Hancock and Jane Skeen. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James B., George A., John Strange, Samuel Wesley, Sarah, Nancy Jane and Mary A.. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 60 on March 31st, 1895 in Harrison County, Indiana.-
