Harriet Caroline Hefley 
Harriet Caroline was born on January 12th, 1832 in , Henderson, TN. Harriet Caroline's father was Martin Hefley and her mother was Clarissa Ann Mahaffey. Her paternal grandparents were Phillip Thomas Hefley and Mary Dever; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Mahaffey and Elizabeth Cathey. She had five brothers and a sister, named William Vance, Joseph Mahaffey, Phillip Jackson, George Whitfield, Samuel M and Eliza. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 65 on November 13th, 1897.-
