Andrew Cathey

Andrew was born in 1714 in Ulster, Monaghan, Ireland.  Andrew's father was James Cathey and his mother was Ann Unknown.  His paternal grandfather was Unknown Cathey. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, William, George, Elizabeth, Margaret and Ann.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 76 in 1790 in , Mecklenburg, NC.
