George Cathey

George was born about 1715 in Ulster, Monaghan, Ireland.  George's father was James Cathey and his mother was Ann Unknown.  His paternal grandfather was Unknown Cathey. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, William, Andrew, Elizabeth, Margaret and Ann.  He was the third youngest of the seven children.  He died about 1789 in , Burke, NC.
