William Cathey

William was born about 1712 in Ulster, Monaghan, Ireland.  William's father was James Cathey and his mother was Ann Unknown.  His paternal grandfather was Unknown Cathey. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Andrew, George, Elizabeth, Margaret and Ann.  He was the third oldest of the seven children.  He died about 1746 in , Augusta, VA.
